Halloween

The kids had a great Halloween.  Isaiah went as Dash from the Incredibles and Ayla decided she loved Halloween so much she would do a wardrobe change and went as a movie star and then Belle from Beauty and the Beast, her favorite current princess.  They got to trick or treat three different places and got enough candy to last until they die according to Isaiah!  We went to the museum and made a bat out of eyes, bat body and popsicle stick.  They also got some candy, then we went to trick or treat around our church and then in our church.  One family wasn’t prepared for trick or treaters and so they gave each of our kids a can of pop, to which Isaiah said, “Now we can have this adult drink!”  I quickly explained that it was going in the fridge for Mommy.  They were elated from all the other treats so no worries there.  It was an unbelievable turn out at the church with ninety-seven people there.  God is good.  The kids did lots of different games, including Ayla’s favorite bean bag toss and Isaiah’s favorite, digging for treasure in a huge tub of rice.  Their favorite candy includes lollipops, no surprise there, and Dots candy.  Trevor, the pastor, dressed up as a gangster/biker and I went as a baker.  All in all it was a whole lot of fun, the kids are already planning their costumes for next year!  (Not sure why some of the pictures are turned…they weren’t in the preview, sorry!)
