You’ve Got Mail
The kids have been really into writing letters lately, so we came up with our own homemade mailboxes so we could give each other mail. A great way to encourage writing in real life experiences. It is good because it is not a chore, kind of similar to writing a note to Isaiah’s teacher, a grocery list, or in our house lately, Christmas lists, or a the meals for the week. I think I have received about thirty pieces of mail in about two days, the kids love it. Who doesn’t love getting mail? The kids now have a place to put the various pictures they make for us throughout the day as well. To make them we used envelopes I had and cut off the top and taped them to one of our bookshelves. We each decorated ours and check it each day (or several times if your Isaiah). So much fun!
