Rain, Rain, Go Away!l
April showers bring May flowers right? It has been very rainy here, so we have done several fun things to enjoy the rain, as well as enjoyed our time inside. Ayla and I played in the rain one morning while Isaiah was at preschool. We set out a bucket to catch the rain (then measured how much rain we got), looked for worms, colored pictures with magic markers and watched the rain splatter them, and of course, splashed in puddles! My kids were not so excited about the thunder, but the rain was welcome for a small part of our day. Then we began singing our rain songs. “Rain, rain go away.” That is always fun. We’ve also been singing the “If all the raindrops,” song…we have had fun changing the lyrics to things we’d want it to rain. Isaiah’s favorites are Legos and milkshakes! Inside we played some games with balloons. Lot of fun and giggling there!
Sorry for no pictures. I have lost (misplaced I hope) our camera and cannot put them on.
