Rollin’ in the Dough

My son loves money.  Now that he understands the value of money and that it can be used to buy things he tries to get as much money as he can by doing extra chores, going on money hunts, and always getting super excited for his allowance.  I decided to do a game with my kids to help them learn more about money.

This game was great it involved, sorting since they had to find the pennies, counting, learning the value of money (since at the end they had to change in their pennies for nickels, quarters, and dimes).  We also talked about more and less than, which type of coin did they have the most of at the end?  It was lots of fun and my kids enjoyed keeping the money!
