Holy

Today was Holy.  My wise husband told our kids that Holy means “set apart”.  God is set apart from us in that He is perfect and sinless.  My definition was perfect goodness.  Hopefully between these two our kids understood a little bit about Holiness.  We got the opportunity to visit a big candy cane festival so we made a candy cane ornament.  Also I explained to the kids how the red is the blood of Jesus and the sacrifice He made while the white is purity and Holiness.  Our scripture was Isaiah 6:3

3 And they were calling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
