Ice Cream Shop

Maybe it is just my family and the summer, but we have really been into eating a lot of ice cream lately.  My kids have gotten pretty good at bargaining for ice cream, I think they know I love it too!  We decided to hold our own ice cream shop at our house.  It was a great way for them to be creative and we even used some real money to practice counting change.  Happy Playing!

We used our magnadoodle to write the prices and types of ice cream. My kids loved naming the ice cream flavors.

We used a plain piece of brown paper and rolled it up like a cone, just taped it shut. You could also use small dixie cups.

We rolled up tissue paper to make our ice cream. Isaiah liked to make several and stack them on the cone.

We used a whole punch to make sprinkles! This was a favorite part, everyone got extra sprinkles.

I think Ayla made about five ice cream cones, we even had to save one for Daddy!

The kids liked having their own ice cream scoop to scoop up the ice cream balls to put into the cone.
